Hello...i have a question about old adits and shafts in the green and gold mt. area...have you come across any other than the adit on the tin mine trail?
In both my research and field survey's I have not personally found any other mine shafts or adits aside from the main adit on the north flank of Gold Mountain. However, I do know that they exist. One is somewhere on the south side of Green Mountain, as a surface trench dug in the surface apparently looking for Cobalt, of all things.
Another abandoned(?) mine mentioned lies in private property somewhere near Tin Mine Lake with Tin named as the ore being mined.
